Choosing a business location is one of the most important aspects of starting a small business.
Finding the right location can mean everything. It can dictate foot traffic, business atmosphere and long-term success for your small business. Imagine if you are in a large, busy shopping center where there are 20,000 people a day driving or walking past the entrance to your restaurant or store. Ask yourself how much money you would have to spend on advertising just to get that many people to even see your name much less be at your front door. You cannot generate that kind of traffic through advertising, you have to lease in good locations which costs money. You just have to ask yourself if the additional money for the location will ultimately generate enough sales to warrant the difference. Just remember, businesses with great locations rarely go out of business!
